HP Alphaserver DS15a (RoHS) System Building Block
THe HP Compaq AlphaServer DS15a is the replacement server for the now retired Alphaserver DS10, offering huge increases in speed and connectivity.
Offered with a choice of of OpenVMS and Tru64 Unix & Linux, we provide AlphaServer products that are known throughout the industry for their quality and reliability.
In many cases, we are also able to offer Brand NEW HP Alpha Server DS15a systems (please contact us for pricing)
HP AlphaServer DS15a servers run OpenVMS (7.3-1 onward) and Tru64 Unix (5.1Bv2 + NHD7 onward) operating systems and are capable of using up to 4 GB SDRAM PC133 Memory.
Disk Options for the HP DS15a servers are offered as either front access or internal. The DS15a like its predecessor, includes 2 on-board Fast Ethernet Network Interface Card (NIC) ports and an embedded dual-port Ultra160 SCSI controller for connection to both internal and external storage. It has 4 way 64 bit PCI slot backplane to accommodate a combination of 32 bit and 64 bit PCI devices (does not support 5.0V)
