Delivery Information

Sales Tax, VAT & Customs Duty


USA:
We do not collect sales taxes  from any customer outside Georgia. The Georgia Sales Tax rate is 7% and is charged to any destination within the State of Georgia, unless we are provided with a current Tax Exempt certificate prior to shipping.

Canada/Mexico:
Both countries are members of NAFTA and no import duty will be charged. But Federal Express will bill you for any GST/VAT applicable to your Province/Country.

EU/UK/Eurozone:
There is no import duty into EU Countries from the USA. VAT is charged at your local rate by the freight company. They will contact you at the number provided by you on the order for payment. 

Shipping/Freight companies will bill you a nominal fee for customs clearance and paperwork based on the  CIF value (delivered value) on top of your country's VAT charges. 
If you are concerned about pricing fluctuation or variation, please ask us for a delivered price. We will include all appropriate charges excluding VAT. We will then send a copy of Fedex Bill showing fees in order for you to get your VAT refund if applicable.

All other countries:

Depending on your location, you may be subject to Import duty. Contact your local Revenue office for more information.

ALL Products ship from the USA unless otherwise stated. Island Computers US Corp is based in Savannah GA USA

We ship standard boxes up to 150Lbs by UPS and Federal Express. We will contact you with pricing should  UPS/Fedex fail to provide a quote online.

We will happily ship on your Federal Express account number. We do not ship UPS or DHL unless you provide the account information.

Add an additional 2 days for DHL or other carrier for pickup as we have to arrange pickup.
For large Shipments, both domestic and international over 150 lbs, we use Federal Express Air Freight, Domestic R & L Carriers,  
or Expeditors International.
If you would like us to ship on your account on a web order, please include your Shipper name, the account number, and shipment type/speed
in the "comments" section at the end of the order process after "checkout"
For international Corporate customers, please be sure to include your Business Tax ID/VAT/TVA/GST number to allow a quick passage through Customs.
If using a Customs broker please be sure to include their name, telephone number, contact, and email in the comments section also

Shipment times

Note that from the date of your order you typically need to allow 1-2 days for product testing and packing before shipment.
If you need your product immediately, next day or even same day,  please call us in order that we can/may expedite the shipment.
Even though we strive to ship out the same day on most items, many products require a full test before packing and shipping.
Orders are typically processed in the order in which they are received. Orders received online are typically processed that day and shipped within 24 hours.
Should you fail to note your shipment method, we will assume you prefer Fedex Ground for domestic US shipments and International Economy for International shipments.

The "Next Day Advance Replacement" shipping requires established credit terms (or credit card on file) and is only applicable to US/Canada.(except Alaska and Puerto Rico)
US and Canada:  Priority 1 day. 2 Day 3 Day Saver & Ground (max. 5 business days) 
Fedex International Priority 2 -3 days from US to Western Europe
Fedex International Economy 5-8 days from US to Western Europe
Expeditors International -Europe 2-3 days + brokerage/customs (up to 3-4 days)
R & L East Coast: 3 Days Max.  Mid/Mountain 4 Days Max West Coast 6 Days Max.

SAME-DAY SHIPPING - EMERGENCY EXPEDITED SAME DAY SERVICE UP TO 7PM EST IS AVAILABLE FOR SPECIAL ORDERS TO US AND CANADIAN CUSTOMERS.

Shipping Terminology/INCO Terms  (Reference - https://www.trade.gov/know-your-incoterms) 

Door-to-Door - Shipping fees included from us to your door. This does NOT include any customs, taxes, duties or other fees.
CIF - Carriage, Insurance and Freight. This is almost the same as above but does include the cost of full insurance on products shipped from us  on our account.
FOB - Free On Board. Once it is in the hands of the shipper, all costs are at your expense.
DDP - Delivered Duty Paid. We pay it all except local VAT/Sales Tax. We pay the import duty  with the freight cost. (Very rare and must have approval)
EX-Works - all fees passed forward to customer . Our standard terms
